This week, Kris recommends The Man with 1000 Kids, a short documentary series about a Dutch scammer accused of traveling the world and deceiving people into having his babies on a mass scale. Kris found this peek into fertility-related crimes fascinating.
I recommend Carrie Byrd’s debut novel Loser of the Year. It features a Jewish lesbian who’s hired at a Catholic school and can’t help falling for the arrogant soccer coach. It’s one of the best books I’ve read all year and I can’t recommend it enough.
